I made this card for a friend of mine who had a baby girl.  The kangaroo is from Whipper Snapper Designs and I colored him with Copics.    Its a pretty simple card, but simple is pretty much my style anyway.  I have just recently started doing some sewing on my cards.  I love the look, but I am not a seamstress by any stretch of the imagination.  I can sew a pretty mean button though!  LoL!

The inside of the card is computer-generated and says:  "On your new little Roo!"

Birthday Turtle

I am addicted to Whipper Snapper stamps.  There.  I said it.  Seriously though, I am afraid to count just how many that I have.  But they're just so stinkin' adorable and so much fun to color!  THAT makes it okay, right?  Here is a card that I started last week and finished up today.   Isn't this little turtle the cutest?  I love to mix patterned papers together and I will admit that patterned paper is another addiction of mine, but we won't get into that right now!  I colored the turtle with Copics and then cut him out and placed him on the pink background circle.

S/U Blossom Bouquet Punch

This is one of the cards that I made this week.  I first saw THIS CARD on Pinterest and thought it was really cute.  Well, when I started to make my version, I got a little ahead of myself and forgot to leave the bottom of the card un-embossed.  Is that even a word?  So, I wasn't able to stamp a sentiment at the bottom.  I wasn't sure what to put there instead, but when all else fails USE A BOW!  I guess the advantage is that now it can be an "anytime" card.  I can just stamp whatever sentiment I need on the inside.

Meet Hank and Sophie

Since the first words in my blog title are paw prints, I thought my first post should show who those paw prints REALLY belong to.    Pictured below are Hank and Sophie, the loves of my life.  It's amazing how each dog has their own personality and silly quirks just like we do.  My house would not be a home without a dog in it.  Or two.  Or three.....
