It's Graduation Time Again!

Here we are again...... graduation season.  Boy, that always comes around fast!  I need to remind myself next winter to start making graduation cards in bulk!  I can never keep up!  Here are 2 cards that I made this week. They are both for college graduates.  One from the University of Michigan and one from THE Ohio State University.

I started out by drawing some light pencil lines diagonally on white cardstock to help with placement and then stamped "grad" in the alternating school colors.  The little graduation caps are stickers, but I put baby powder on the backs to "take the sticky off" and then popped them up with a pop dot.  The silver ink on the second card kept wanting to smear, so I needed to seal it.  I sprayed each card with Glitter Dust and that seemed to help.  The Glitter Dust is hard to see in the pictures, but it does give the cards a nice finish.

Supplies Used:
Grad stamp - MorningStar Rubber Stamps
Congratulations Graduate stamp - Hampton Art
Graduation Cap stickers - Sticko
Inks:  Harvest Gold (Papertrey Ink) Red Royal, Silver & Navy (Hero Arts)

  1. Wonderful design ! And so versatile, I can see it with different stamps... So inspiring ! I will pin your card. :)

  2. Love the simplicity of the design..and so cute too!
