I found this sentiment stamp at our local rubber stamp show. A show I look forward to every year. The stamp is from Two Lips Stamps. They carry some really funny stamps. I only bought 3 of them, but trust me, I will me adding to my collection.
...and here comes the funny. I swear, I laughed out loud when I read this at the stamp show. And, guess what? I was all by myself! LoL. Literally!
Maybe, it's just me, but I still crack up when I read this.
As for the making of this card... I bought the sentiment, now what? I really had no idea how I was going to use it. I just liked it! When I came home from the show, I started brainstorming on how I could turn this sentiment into a card. My brain went to car, traffic and voila, a traffic light! A simple search on SSS led me to this traffic light by Neat & Tangled.
The front of the card is pretty simple. To me, it's all about the sentiment on this one. I just stamped and colored the image with Copics and added some Glossy Accent for a nice finish. I used the Radiating Rays stencil to symbolize the light glowing from the traffic light. I used the same traffic light on the inside of the card and just randomly stamped it using Versamark for a watermark effect. Finished off both panels with the Wonky die from MFT.
Thank you for stopping by!
