A Magnificent Day

Hello again! Today, I am sharing another card for The Project Bin.  I am using a brand new stamp set called Birthday Girl.  This set is filled with so many great birthday sentiments, and even includes a half-birthday sentiment, which I can't wait to use and surprise a special someone with a half-birthday card!

Here is my card for this week...

I found this multi-colored crochet thread at Hobby Lobby and I just 'had to have it"!  Fun, bright colors always draw me in.  I used a stitched heart die that pierced the holes and then did some stitching with the crochet thread.  Thank you to Nichol Spohr for this idea.  Even though the sentiment on this card is from the Birthday Girl stamp set, I really like that it can also be used for an "any occasion" type of card.
