Autism Awareness

Hello again.  Today, I am sharing another card for The Project Bin.  Today is Autism Awareness Day and the month of April is Autism Awareness Month, so to promote Autism Awareness, I used the stamp set called Spencer's Set.  A portion of the profits from sales of this set will be donated to the Autism Research Institute.  The Project Bin is also having a sale on this set for the month of April for only $5 (no limit), or it can even be yours FREE with a $60 order.

This card seems to be shouting Spring!, doesn't it?  Well, my mind says Spring, the calendar says Spring.... the outdoors?  Not so much!  My fingers are crossed, though, that it will happen sometime soon!

The heart was stamped onto 80lb. Neenah Solar White paper and colored with Copic markers.  I used 2 shades of each color for a bit of shadow.  Then, I cut out the heart with a coordinating heart die that can be found in the In My Heart set. I also cut 3 more hearts in black to stack them under the colored heart for dimension. I just happened to find the perfect patterned paper to coordinate with my stamped image, added it to the left side of the card, then used a stitched scallop die to trim down the white panel.  I, then, added the quote by Dr. Seuss to complete my card.

Thank you for stopping by!
