My Friends Are My Estate

Hello there.  I hope your week is off to a great start.  Today, I am sharing another card for The Project Bin using a sentiment that is from the stamp set called #bff.  I really love the clean, graphic look of this sentiment.

This card showcases one of my most favorite techniques.... die cut inlay.   So many different looks can be achieved simply by changing the colors.  You could go with a rainbow theme, a monochromatic theme or a multi-colored look like I did for my card.  I really like how the bright colors pop against the white background.

To get started, I used a background die from Taylored Expressions called Folksy Flowers and cut it from white card stock, then I used a stitched rectangle die to frame the panel.  Then came the fun part..... bringing the panel to life by adding all of the negative pieces back onto the card by using different colors of card stock.  This is also a great die for using up the never-ending card stock scraps that we all collect!

Once I had all of the pieces glued in place, I stamped the sentiment in black ink, then adhered the panel to the card base.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great week!
