Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope your Memorial Day was a great one. I spent mine in Ohio and it was a picture perfect day for sure. I am thrilled to officially be in Summer mode!
I am sharing another card for The Project Bin today using the #BFF set for the sentiment. In case you haven't noticed, I am still on a die cut inlay kick. I really love that this technique is so versatile, is a great way to use scraps and is also a great way to mass produce a card design. You DO need a little bit of patience though, but the outcome is so worth it.
Here is my card:
I began by using a stitched rectangle frame die to cut my card panel, then chose the plaid background paper. I picked an array of rainbow colors to match the colors of the plaid and used the Tumbled Heart Collage die from Poppy to cut the design from 6 different colors of card stock, then adhered the hearts into the negative spaces.
Lastly, I added the sentiment. I think this sentiment is perfect for an encouragement card. We all need a little "pick me up" sometimes and it's always nice to know that someone cares. Who wouldn't love to get a card from their friend and be called beautiful too? Win-Win!
Have a great week and Happy Summer!

Friendship
Hello! Today, I have a card to share using a sentiment stamp set from The Project Bin called #bff. This set has some great sentiments, perfect sayings for your bff to let them know how special they are to you!
Here is my card:
Here is my card:
I used a Hibiscus flower die for the large image and used different colors of patterned paper to inlay the pieces back into the negative spaces. This is one of my favorite techniques. I used a stitched rectangle frame die to cut the panel, stamped the beautiful sentiment and then adhered the front panel to a black card base. For the finishing touch, I added some crystal sequins for a little pizzazz!

Birthday Wishes
Hello! Today, I am sharing another card using the newest stamp set from The Project Bin. The stamp set is called Birthday Girl. As always, lots of sweet sentiments in this one.
I started with the background. Lots of die-cutting! There are 2 die cut pieces per flower that are stacked together. The bottom layer in turquoise, and the top layer in a pale yellow. I scattered the cut flowers randomly on the base layer and then adhered the sentiment which was cut using a speech bubble die.
Once everything was in place, I felt that the background still needed "a little something". After a bit of pondering, I decided to add the black dots to the background with a black marker. I like how that filled in the white space and also helped to bring the black together.
Be sure to check out all of the other great birthday sentiments in this stamp set.
