Happy Tuesday, everyone! I hope your Memorial Day was a great one. I spent mine in Ohio and it was a picture perfect day for sure. I am thrilled to officially be in Summer mode!
I am sharing another card for The Project Bin today using the #BFF set for the sentiment. In case you haven't noticed, I am still on a die cut inlay kick. I really love that this technique is so versatile, is a great way to use scraps and is also a great way to mass produce a card design. You DO need a little bit of patience though, but the outcome is so worth it.
Here is my card:
I began by using a stitched rectangle frame die to cut my card panel, then chose the plaid background paper. I picked an array of rainbow colors to match the colors of the plaid and used the Tumbled Heart Collage die from Poppy to cut the design from 6 different colors of card stock, then adhered the hearts into the negative spaces.
Lastly, I added the sentiment. I think this sentiment is perfect for an encouragement card. We all need a little "pick me up" sometimes and it's always nice to know that someone cares. Who wouldn't love to get a card from their friend and be called beautiful too? Win-Win!
Have a great week and Happy Summer!
Thank you for stopping by!
