Hello again! I am sharing another card today for The Project Bin. For this card, I used the stamp set called In My Heart.
I began by scoring a 8.5 x 4.25 sheet of craft card stock in half to use as my card base and then cut the front panel of hearts with a Reverse Confetti die called All Heart Cover Panel Confetti Cuts. I've always liked how well the colors of kraft and white go together, so clean and simple, yet gives it a little pop too.
I stamped the sentiment onto green card stock using the heart die that also comes with this stamp set. I place it onto the yellow stitched rectangle, tied the twine into a bow and used foam squares to pop it up onto the card base. For the finishing touch, a little scattering of 3mm gemstones... because we all need a little "fancy" in our lives!
Have a great week!

Too Many Dogs? Never!
Hello again! I am posting today's blog entry straight from my ark. Just kidding. Although with all this rain we've been getting in my neck of the woods, I totally understand how Noah felt! LoL. All this rain has definitely given me some guilt-free time in my craft room though!
My card for today showcases a sentiment from The Project Bin that I think was made just for me! It is from the stamp set called Kinda Pawsome. I am one of the world's biggest dog lovers, so this stamp set is definitely one of my favorites.
I began by cutting six 2x2 squares from Kiwi and Paradise card stocks, then cut the cute puppy on each of the squares using a die from SSS. Next, I cute 6 more from black card stock, then filled in the negative spaces with the black. I adhered everything to a sheet of printer paper to start since I wasn't sure yet what color my card base was going to be. That was also helpful since the size of my card turned out to be an odd size. Once everything was assembled, my card panel measured 4.25 x 6, so I cut my card base acoordingly to give it a 1/8 border all around. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then clear-embossed it to make it a little more bold. I popped up the sentiment in the center using foam squares and adhered the panel to a yellow card base.
Thank you for stopping by!

My Favorite Place
Hello! I have another colorful card to share today featuring a stamp set from The Project Bin called In My Heart. This stamp set comes with many heartfelt sentiments, 2 adorable heart stamps, a heart die and also an xoxo die.
For the card base, I used a stitched scallop die near the bottom of the white card stock, then added the turquoise card stock at the bottom. I stamped the xoxo with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and used a new die from Taylored Expressions to cut from black card stock. I used the die several more times cutting from a variety bright colored card stock, then adhered the card stock strips in rainbow order into the negative spaces.
To finish off the card, I stamped the main sentiment onto lime green card stock and made it into a heart using the heart die that came with this set.. I also cut 2 additional hearts to stack them for some dimension and then used foam squares to pop it up on the card and rounded the bottom corners.
Thank you for stopping by!

Smile, I Turtley Adore You!
Welcome back! Today is Tuesday, so that means its time to share another card featuring The Project Bin. Today, I chose to use the stamp set called Love Your Shellfie. I just love this cute, little turtle and there are also so many "punny" sentiments with this set as well.
I started my card by using a stitched rectangle die to frame the front panel. I used the Smile word die from MFT at the bottom of the panel, then stamped the turtle as if he was standing on it. That helped to ground him, because I've ever seen a floating turtle, LoL. I used the Smile word die 5 more times and cut out the individual letters in various colors of patterned paper and then inlaid them into the negative spaces. To color the turtle, I picked out some blues, greens and yellows from my always-growing collection of Copic markers, so he would coordinate with the patterned papers. To add a little bit of whimsy to him, I gave him some polka dots using a white gel pen.
Next came the sentiment. I used one of the sentiments that is also included in this set and white heat embossed it onto black card stock, then popped it up using foam squares. To complete the card, I added some Glossy Accents to the hearts a little bit of bling for the finishing touch!
Thank you for stopping by!
