Too Many Dogs? Never!

Hello again!   I am posting today's blog entry straight from my ark.  Just kidding.  Although with all this rain we've been getting in my neck of the woods, I totally understand how Noah felt! LoL.  All this rain has definitely given me some guilt-free time in my craft room though!

My card for today showcases a sentiment from The Project Bin that I think was made just for me!  It is from the stamp set called Kinda Pawsome.  I am one of the world's biggest dog lovers, so this stamp set is definitely one of my favorites.

I began by cutting six 2x2 squares from Kiwi and Paradise card stocks, then cut the cute puppy on each of the squares using a die from SSS.  Next, I cute 6 more from black card stock, then filled in the negative spaces with the black.  I adhered everything to a sheet of printer paper to start since I wasn't sure yet what color my card base was going to be.  That was also helpful since the size of my card turned out to be an odd size.  Once everything was assembled, my card panel measured 4.25 x 6, so I cut my card base acoordingly to give it a 1/8 border all around.  I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then clear-embossed it to make it a little more bold.  I popped up the sentiment in the center using foam squares and adhered the panel to a yellow card base.

Thank you for stopping by!
