Merriest Christmas

Hello there!  In honor of Christmas in July and a brand new stamp & die set from The Project Bin called Merriest Wishes, I have a fun card to share today....

Isn't this snowman the cutest?  And he spins, too!  When I saw his dangling little feet, I just knew he needed to be dangling from a card, too!  He is a simple little guy to color, since he is white already, and he couldn't be any easier to cut out since he comes with a matching die as well!  I did add some light blue highlights around the snow to give him just a little bit of color.  I used colored pencils to color him and used a white Signo pen to add the dots on the present.  I just realized that I forgot to color the pom pom on his hat... ooops! I also cut him out a second time and reversed it to create a backer so I could sandwich the clear thread between the layers.

I made the background using the Grace Layer Set from Birch Press Designs cutting the 3 layers in shades of white, green and red, then I adhered them together and placed them onto a turquoise card panel.

The sentiment is heat embossed in white, and is one of the many great sentiments in this set.  Just before putting this card into an envelope, be sure to spin the snowman around about 20 times or so, then when the recipient opens the card, the snowman will spin like there's no tomorrow!  Always a fun surprise!

Thank you for stopping by!
