Don't Let Me Melt!

Happy Tuesday to you!  Today, I am sharing another card for The Project Bin using the stamp set called Merriest Wishes.  I know I just used this set a couple weeks ago, but this snowman is just too stinkin' adorable,  I couldn't resist!

I started with my background.  I used 3 different colors of distress oxides onto a panel of Bristol Smooth card stock.  I just love how easy the oxides blend... and even extra seamless on the Bristol paper!  Next, I used the snowflake cover plate to cut out the top layer for the card using Neenah Solar White card stock.  I wanted to add a border to frame the panel, so I used the Framed Tag Park Avenue from Mama Elephant and stacked 4 of them together.  I cut 3 in black and 1 in white.  I think the black creates a bit of a shadow and separates the panel from the background a bit.

The sentiment was white-heat embossed on black card stock and the left side is cut at a slant.  Once I had the sentiment in place, it was time to color this cutie patootie snowman.  I just love his little smile!  I used Copic markers to colors him and then added Glossy Accents to his carrot nose and the pom pom on his hat.

For the finishing touch, a scattering of sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
