New Milky Way Stamp Set

Hello there!  Another week, another new stamp set!   Today, I am sharing a card using another new stamp set from The Project Bin called Milky Way.   Lots of great sentiments and, of course, an adorable alien (and he comes with a matching die, too!)

I began my card by creating a galaxy-themed background.  I used a variety of colors of distress ink onto watercolor card stock, then went over it using Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot distress inks, sprayed with water using a distress sprayer and then dabbed with a paper towel.  Once everything was dry, I put a dab of Copic Opaque White and a little bit of water onto an acrylic block, mixed it up, then flicked it onto the card base to create the look of stars.

 Here is the card...

I used a cell phone die to create the phone, then added 2 sentiments from the Milky Way set onto the chat bubbles.  The alien was stamped using purple ink, then I added a bit of extra color to him using colored pencils, then gave him some fun googly eyes!  Next, I added the glittery half circle to the bottom of the card base.  I was going for the look of a planet or something, not too sure if I succeeded or not!  LoL!

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great week!
