Star Light, Star Bright

Happy Tuesday!  Today, I am sharing another card for The Project Bin.  For my card, I used the Stamp set called Merriest Christmas.  It's so crazy to think that we are just over a month away from Christmas, and guess what?  This year I am "one of those people" doing early decorating.  With Thanksgiving being so late this year, I am all about "checking those boxes" and getting as much done as I can, but I am being leisurely about it, so no stress!

Now, back to my card.....

I began by cutting down a sheet of Sea Glass card stock to 4 x 5.25, then used the Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window die from MFT to cut the center.  Once my card panel was ready, I used the Snow Flurry stencil from MFT, along with some Glitter Gel from Gina K.  I really love the shine that it gives in real life.  Next, I stamped the adorable snowman onto 80lb. Neenah Solar White card stock, colored him with Copic markers and used a white gel pen to add some polka dots to the present.  I used the rectangle die once more to cut out the snowman, giving him a perfect fit within the card panel.

The sentiment is white heat-embossed onto black card stock and then popped up on the card base with foam squares.  I used a narrow strip of patterned paper to give the card a little pop of color beneath the sentiment.  I then adhered the card panel onto Lapis card stock by Hero Arts.  I thought the card still needed a little somethin-somethin, so I scattered a "flurry" of shiny gemstones around the card.

Thank you for stopping by!

You Were Born to Stand Out

It's Tuesday, so that means it's time to share another card for The Project Bin.  For today's card, I used a sentiment from the stamp set called Spencer's Set.

Here is my card:

I stamped the sentiment onto 80lb. Neenah Solar White card stock and created a frame using a puzzle piece die from Taylored Expressions.  I cut the puzzle piece from 5 different colors of card stock and also one from patterned paper.  My thought was to add one puzzle piece that is different from the rest to "stand out" as the quote conveys.  Once my frame was complete, I added it to a black A2 card base and rounded the bottom corners.

Have a great week!

The Right Shoes

Hello again!  Today, I am sharing another card for The Project Bin using the stamp set called Wise Women.  There are some great quotes in this set, especially this one.  We, women, love our shoes!

I had the perfect patterned paper to complement this quote, so I used it as my background.  I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock, used a flower die as a frame and finished off the card with a twine bow.

Thank you for stopping by!
